General Films is currently seeking to fill the following positions:
SHIFT SUPERVISOR-PLASTIC FILM MANUFACTURING
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising a manufacturing team of approximately seven people and possesses a minimum of an associate's degree in management with five years supervisory experience. Blown film extrusion experience required.
EXTRUDING OPERATOR
The Extruding Operator is responsible for producing products by monitoring and adjusting blown film extrusion lines. This position prepares production equipment for operations by making setup adjustments and assisting with changeovers. This position also maintains quality standards by conducting online inspections of products, completing inspection Data Sheets, and making equipment adjustments.
EXTRUDING HELPER
The Extruding Helper is responsible for monitoring product by completing quality control checks and assisting in equipment adjustments. This position documents production, referring questions to the supervisor, properly packaging product, and reporting needed changes.
CONVERTING INSPECTOR
The Converting Inspector is responsible for a variety of activities involving bag and tube wrapping, liner and hat cover machines. This position inspects products, assembles products, stacks and packs finished bag/tube products into boxes, and lifts/loads boxes weighing approximately 13-50 lbs.
